Classes are taught in the Niceville area. See the calendar for available dates. Over a dozen specialty classes are available, including Spearfishing, Wreck, Cavern and Drysuit diving. Try NITROX (or Enriched Air) which allows for longer bottom times (which is what SCUBA is all about). It is a very popular class that can be done in two evenings, usually mid-week, with no dives required. NITROX is often combined with Advanced Open Water and a discount applies when both courses are taken together. Emergency First Responder will certify or recertify your certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED. SnapperScuba provides a credit for any follow-on course or for each referral you provide for any course. We also provide a discount for scouts.

Sidemount Open Water Diver!

Come see what this new configuration is all about. Learn about the comfort, control, and redundancy that sidemount diving has to offer. Sidemount diving positions a tank on each side of the harness and allows for excellent trim control and affords the redundancy of two air supplies from separate first and second stages.

Looking for a local dive club? If you have thought about wanting to dive longer or dive deeper, this training will prepare you. There are two main approaches toward full certification: Tec 40/45/50 meters or Tec 1 followed by Tec Deep. Both end up with the same result: multi-gas switches for accelerated decompression to depths of 165'. If you're not quite sure about Tec, try Discover Tec with backmount doubles or side-mount configuration, or the Tec 40 meter class which allows for limited deco (up to 10 minutes) and you can take that class with most OW BCs with a 30 cu ft or larger deco tank.

Check out Snapper Scuba on Facebook

Check out the link on the main page for details and find out about diving opportunities in the Florida Panhandle and elsewhere.
