Sign up now for classes!

If you have the "urge to submerge" as we say in SCUBA, now is the time to sign up for Open Water or that next class that interests you. Classes are taught in the Niceville area. See the calendar for available dates. Over a dozen specialty classes are available, including Spearfishing, Wreck, Cavern and Drysuit diving. Try NITROX (or Enriched Air) which allows for longer bottom times (which is what SCUBA is all about). It is a very popular class that can be done in two evenings, usually mid-week, with no dives required. NITROX is often combined with Advanced Open Water and a discount applies when both courses are taken together. Emergency First Responder will certify or recertify your certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED. SnapperScuba provides a credit for any follow-on course or for each referral you provide for any course. We also provide a discount for scouts.

Sidemount Open Water Diver!

Come see what this new configuration is all about.  Learn about the comfort, control, and redundancy that sidemount diving has to offer.  Sidemount diving positions a tank on each side of the harness and allows for excellent trim control and affords the redundancy of two air supplies from separate first and second stages.

Looking for a local dive club? Try the Scubaholics

The Scubaholics welcomes divers of all abilities and all ages. We dive at least once a month and the club is open to singles, couples, and families. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month in the Niceville area to plan our upcoming events. The club makes local dives and has also supported trips to the Keys, Bahamas, Texas Flower Gardens, and other locals. This is great opportunity to meet other divers and share your passion for diving. For more information, contact the club website at http://members.cox.net/emeraldcoastscubaholics or on Facebook.

Short on time? Complete academics via eLearning!

Several PADI courses now offer the academic phase on-line to save you time. Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, and Photography are available. Scuba Tune-up for those that have been out of the water, is coming soon. If interested, contact SnapperScuba or check out the PADI link.

Emergency First Response - Learn CPR, AED, and First Aid!

SnapperScuba now offers Adult/Child/Infant CPR, First Aid, AED and Intro to O2 training through Emergency First Response. This course is required for Rescue Diver and highly encouraged for all divers as well as anyone else interested in these certifications.

Take the Master Scuba Diver challenge!

When you earn your Master Scuba Diver rating, you have achieved the highest non-professional rating available. It is a marked accomplishment and one to be very proud of because it is a big commitment. More importantly, you have gained significant experience and been exposed to several different types of diving. To earn the Master Scuba Diver rating, you need to complete the Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and five specialty courses. Contact Snapper Scuba or click on the link on the opening page for more info.
